Terms of Service

These terms apply to both the Skydrift web game and the Skydrift Android app (together, "Skydrift", "the game"). By playing, you agree to these terms.

The game

Skydrift is a free, relaxing bird-flying simulator. The web version additionally lets you encounter and optionally chat with other real players nearby, with an AI companion appearing (always disclosed as AI) when no one else is around. The Android app is single-player and offline, with no chat or other players.

Acceptable use

When using the web version's chat, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or send abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit content to other players.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to disrupt, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to the game servers.
• Use the game to collect other players' personal information.

Chat messages are scanned by an automated moderation filter, and you can mute, block, or report other players at any time from the chat panel. We may suspend access for anyone who violates these terms.

No guarantee of availability

Skydrift is provided as-is, free of charge, with no uptime or availability guarantee. Features, servers, or the game itself may change or be discontinued at any time.

AI companion

The web version's AI companion bird is an automated feature, not a real person, and its responses are generated by a third-party AI service. It is always visually and textually disclosed as AI within the game — it will never be presented as a real player.

Intellectual property

Skydrift's code, art, audio, and design are the property of its developer except where third-party assets are used under their own license (see in-game/app credits). You may not redistribute, resell, or claim the game or its assets as your own.

Age & parental guidance

The Android app is designed to be suitable for younger players. The web version's chat connects you with real strangers online and is not intended for unsupervised use by children — a parent or guardian should be aware if a child is using the web version's multiplayer features.

Limitation of liability

Skydrift is provided free of charge and "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game evolves. Continued use of Skydrift after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
